Edinburg, TX (June 22, 2022) –– Local Rio Grande Valley (RGV) restaurant, Wing Barn, now has 10 locations in the RGV. This week, they opened their second location in Edinburg, TX. A grand opening celebration will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 from 10:30 AM CST to 11:00 AM CST. Media is invited to attend. Wing Barn McColl is located at 1303 S McColl Rd, suite I-J, Edinburg, TX, 78539.

“Wing Barn started as a hope and a prayer,” said Bobby Saenz, Wing Barn President and CEO. “The RGV Community has embraced our local, family-owned business and we are grateful. The pandemic and all the challenges it brought could have sunk us; but the RGV community kept showing up for us and we kept adapting to what the community needed. We love the RGV and plan to continue expanding Wing Barn. Edinburg as a City is growing rapidly, and we are proud to be a part of that growth.”

“We always have the RGV customer in mind when developing our menu,” said co-owner and head chef, Daniel Pompa. “We serve food we love and since I was born and raised right here, in the RGV, the RGV is reflected in our menu. Of course, we offer Dang Good chicken wings, burgers and salads, but we also feature bold flavors and local inspiration, like the RGV street corn in a cup. There is something for everyone.”

Wing Barn prides itself on being a local, family-owned, and operated restaurant that offers made from scratch food. Saenz moved to the RGV in 2006 and lives in Brownsville, TX, with his wife and family. Pompa was born and raised in Brownsville, TX. Together, Saenz and Pompa opened Wing Barn in Brownsville, TX, in 2010.

Since 2010, Wing Barn has opened 10 locations across the Rio Grande Valley, including in: Brownsville, Olmito, McAllen, Harlingen, Edinburg, San Juan and Weslaco.

In 2020, Wing Barn was recognized as one of the ‘Top 25 Best Wing Restaurants in Texas”.  Wing Barn offers over 20 made from scratch chicken wing sauces and rubs.
